On Tuesday 7th November 2023, our Club (PBC) played its third friendly club match with Northwood Shuttles, another local badminton club on our home turf.
The session started with introductions, briefing on format of the games and some warm-ups. Singles’ games were played first followed with doubles games. They were spread over the four courts, and everyone was in good spirits and showing true camaraderie, even making time to pose for photos after their games! All the games were self-judged, and everyone did their best and in a jovial manner.
It was a tight set of results with a draw in the singles and a narrow loss for PBC in the the doubles.
Well done to all the participants from both teams!
